Rescue India is the first water and rope rescue training company (established in 2015) based in India. There is a desperate need for a standardized training for people that are involved in situations where water and rope rescue techniques are required. The classes are taught in a hand’s on manner which enables the students to gain skills that help them to think and act critically in crisis situations. They are doing great work at the Amazoonico. It was nice to visit shortly within a whole day of going down the river with the canoe. But I wouldn't go to it specifically just for that. It's nice to see the animals but you would rather see them free in the jungle.

The many animals and birds that have been rescued and are cared for at this facility are fascinating to see. It's well worth a visit. As an aside, It is crazy hot there so definitely take water and be prepared for the heat.

At least that's what I was told. It is very interesting, especially given the location. We arrived by boat, not knowing what to expect. What we got was some very interesting stories and the chance to see quite a few animals (birds, monkeys, turtles) up close and personal. Was definitely an enjoyable afternoon excursion
